Henry J. Levy, Senior Advisor
Henry is a lifelong New Yorker, born in Brooklyn, raised in Flushing, Queens and now residing in Jericho, Long Island. He is a graduate of Queens College with post graduate studies at Princeton, Robert College in Istanbul and New York University. At age 21 he spent two years in Turkey representing the United States in the Peace Corps as an educator and community development specialist. He was a member of the NYC Board of Education and taught English as a Second Language, creating his own curriculum, in addition to being a team member in the Career Guidance program, dealing with the most difficult students in a Junior High School in Corona, Queens. He was a founder of a chain of community newspapers, the Queens Tribune. Henry also established a full-service advertising agency, working with a number of high-profile clients, and continues to provide advertising and marketing services to businesses and organizations. After running several other media, Henry became the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Jewish Post and continues in that capacity. Henry has been a member of the American Jewish Press Association, New York Press Association and is a UN correspondent for many years. He has devoted his energy to a number of charities and organizations and has most recently become a board member of Voices for Truth and Humanity, a non-profit organization fighting hate and anti-Semitism.
